We were delighted to return to Wessex Demolition & Salvage on the Oil Spill Response project last week to film the MBI SH130 Shear in action taking down redundant oil tanks. Wessex run a large range of Inmalo attachments and on arrival we could see a Montabert V2500 Breaker and an MBI RP10 Pulveriser in action on the Volvo EC300 and Kobelco SK140SR excavators respectively.
Both attachments were performing well on the reinforced concrete base structures which once held the oil tanks. What caught our eye was the MBI RP10 and how powerful and effective it was at crushing material broken off by the V2500 breaker.
What was even more amazing was this older model attachment was still on its first set of jaws. Daryl Grant, Wessex’s Plant Manager, said “Inmalo’s range of attachments have proved to be the most reliable and powerful attachments we have in the fleet. Their reliability and backup is key to our continued investment in these high-quality brands from Inmalo. The payback is immeasurable when you look at the performance and reliability and the new Eagle II SH130 Shear is proof of our continued belief in Inmalo to support our attachment needs”.
